What an incredible evening!
The programme took the audience on a musical journey, with each orchestra performing individually before coming together for a spectacular combined finale. Seeing musicians of all ages and experience sharing the stage and performing as one ensemble was a wonderful reminder of the power of community music-making.
For many of our younger players, performing alongside more experienced musicians is an invaluable experience, building confidence, developing ensemble skills and inspiring the next generation of orchestral performers.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who made the evening possible – our conductors, volunteers, organisers and supporters, and of course our fantastic audience, whose encouragement means so much to the musicians.
Most of all, we are incredibly proud of every single player who took part. Your hard work and commitment over the past weeks shone through in every performance.
Last night saw 92 musicians take to the stage as three orchestras joined forces for a truly memorable JASTO concert. It was an evening full of energy, emotion and celebration, showcasing the dedication and enthusiasm of every player involved.
