Partnerships
Collaboration is central to our mission. We work in partnership with:
- Schools and youth services
- Charities and community organisations
- Freelance musicians and music educators
We already have Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in place with several schools and charities for the upcoming academic year, ensuring structured, long-term relationships that support shared goals.
Monitoring & Evaluation
To ensure our work remains impactful and accountable, we:
- Collect feedback from participants and partners
- Monitor attendance and engagement
- Review our delivery against our charitable aims
Oversight is maintained by our board of directors, who review outcomes and guide future development.
Commitment to Inclusion & Public Benefit
All our programmes are designed to be inclusive, accessible, and open to the public. We particularly aim to support:
- Individuals facing financial hardship
- Those with limited access to music education
- People from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds
No membership is required to access our services. We actively promote opportunities through schools, local charities, and social media to ensure that as many people as possible are aware of and able to benefit from what we offer.

Full Public Benefit Statement
The Da Capo Academy of Performing Arts intends to provide high-quality music education and tuition – instrumental and vocal – to persons in Jersey. While much of the focus will be on young people, adults will equally be able to take advantage of the music education and performance opportunities to be provided by the Academy.
The Academy’s work will serve to ensure educational excellence both in music and the performing arts more broadly. The education, tuition and performance opportunities on offer will be accessible to all, regardless of financial means, and the Academy will publish rigorous and appropriate application criteria to give best effect to this commitment, comprising both bursary and instrument funding, with special emphasis on seeking to attract those from less advantaged backgrounds.
That emphasis will include actively aiming to ensure that the public benefit to be provided will be both physically and socially accessible to all. Activities will be carried out across a range of venues, with the aim of reaching a broad and diverse public.
The Academy’s aim is to seek to reach new participants and audiences through innovative methods of programming and delivery. This will include partnerships with schools and community groups. It will support individuals seeking careers in the arts, as well as those pursuing their artistic interests for personal enrichment.
As to its charitable purposes, the Academy will advance both education and the arts in Jersey.
